Lovat Short Optometrists was established by Mr.Lovat-Short more than 30 years ago. The original owner Mr Lane wanted to  ensure the practice was handed over to someone local who would continue to take care of the business and the local Radstock community. We will continue this ethos and cater for the needs of the local community and surrounding areas.

The practice has seen some changes since it was established. The interior has been redesigned and refitted to turn it into a modern opticians practice. 

The practice has been under new management since the start of 2019. Our team is passionate about taking the time to do the best possible job they can for you. 

We have invested in state of the art technology and now have an OCT 3D retinal scanner, which our Optometrists find immensely helpful in providing a really thorough examination. The OCT allows us to measure tiny changes in the central retina and optic nerve tissue, providing an extremely thorough check for early signs of eye disease.

We believe there is nothing more valuable than your sight so we are determined to look after it for you.
